If we don't learn to listen to the Holy Spirit and do what He is telling us to do, we will never have REAL CONFIDENCE or the BOLDNESS to do what He is calling us to do! The Holy Spirit leads and guides but He will not force or manipulte you to do anything. He will remind you to do what is right. He is your helper, your comforter!
Ephesians 4:30 tells us Do Not grieve the Holy Spirit. He is very sensitive! There are things you have to do as God gives you instructions to do them. If you believe God you will Obey God! Spend time with him in prayer. Fellowship with Him regularly! Read His Word, it is food for your soul! It is nurturing and satisfying! In His word he will lead and guide you!
Don't despise where you are right now, no matter what you are going through. Put your Faith in God! He never puts more on us than we can handle & with every temptation He provides a way out! Learn to obey His word. Sometimes it is hard, BUT it's hard on our flesh. And what is hard on our flesh, sets our spirit FREE!
I John 3:21-"Beloved if our heart condemn us not (we have a clear conscious), THEN have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, BECAUSE WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, and DO those things that are PLEASING IN HIS SIGHT.
Are we obeying God to the best of our ability? Unto every man is given the measure of faith.
But where do we put our faith? Do we put our faith in ourselves, our friends, our jobs?
David repeatedly in the Psalms said he PUT his FAITH in the LORD! God doesn't want us to depend on (put our faith in) anything or anyone but HIM. FAITH cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD! Amen And Amen!
